Services

Radiation Safety Services' experienced staff are able to assist companies with all facets of radiation protection. Consultancy Services Radiation Safety Service employs experienced consultants, some who have regulatory experience. Ionising and Non-ionising Surveys Our staff have access to various types of equipment and are able to conduct surveys of ionising and non-ionising areas and equipment.

RSS offers a variety of training courses.

Radiation Safety Services are unique as a training organisation, placing strong emphasis on the practical component along with full theoretical training.

At our fully equipped training centre, we are able to utilise equipment that is applicable to specific work environments, ensuring all participants gain workplace competency.

Training can be tailored to the needs of your organisation or selected from existing training courses conducted by Radiation Safety Services.

On the successful completion of the Western Australian Radiological Council examination, the applicant may apply for the use of radioactive substances and irradiating apparatus within Western Australia.

This license, through the mutual recognition, is recognised by all states.

Courses that finish with an approved qualifying examination are:

• Fixed Gauges - Industrial
• Portable Gauging Devices
• Industrial Radiography
• Borehole Logging
• Transport
• X-Ray Analysis

Other courses that are not a prerequisite for application for a license are also available, including:

• Microwave Oven Testing
• Isolation Awareness
• Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM)

Any training course that is required can be developed by Radiation Safety Services' experienced personnel, with after hours backup assistance.
