Source Reconditioning & Disposals

Radiation Safety Services can offer a variety of services associated with the testing, reconditioning and disposal of sources and source containers used in industrial applications.

Industrial Sources for certain fixed gauged applications can be tested and recycled. Recycled sources can be reused, if your State Regulatory Authority approves their use.

Source containers are often located in harsh environments and, over time, may become significantly corroded.

Reconditioning of source containers is carried out so that the integrity of the source container is maintained and, in some cases, significantly improved.
